    Hi

Im not sure if this is in the appropriate forum or not.

In the fog I reversed into a pole and have a smal dent (about the size of 2 euro coin on my back bumper near where the boot opens).

It is hardly noticable but some paint around it also chipped which Id like to get sorted as it might get worse/ rust...I have no clue about cars.

Could anyone recommend anywhere to do this that wouldnt cost a fortune or have any idea on cost? Hoping the whole are wouldnt need to be resprayed and thats its not a big job. I really have no idea about cars! Its a Mazda 2 if that makes any difference.

Any tips at all would be great as Im quite strapped for cash.

    I just attached a picture...probably is a bit worse than I thought.

    Thanks a mil.

Tbh unless you are quite picky, it's not too bad,

Your bumper will be plastic so no worries with rust or anything, at worst some more paint will flake off around the area.

It's quite minor damage tbh, it would almost surely be a full bumper respray to have it absolutely perfect - which would beg the question - is the rest of the car perfect or has it got its little charms?

I ask because I wouldn't be paying a good few bob to repair one panel to perfection when the rest of the car would still not be perfect - it might mean throwing money at it for no major benefit.

    0-100ish-250ish for ignore/touch up/repair.

I'd reckon that pricing is fairly close. I've used http://www.fitzwilliamgarage.com/ a few times with no issues. Joe is a nice guy so I'd say send him a copy of the picture. He'll give you a quote and then go from there.

As said that price above seems around what your looking at.
I've used http://www.autohub.ie and many friends have too, great work.
