An arrears new company question.

    Hi my brother used to pay the eircom broadband in our house untill 7months ago he went to canada and not knowing at the time he didnt pay it in months leading up to going when i asked him to let me take over broadband bill he told me bot arrears and i didnt feel like paying the large sum we no longer have eircom broadband and there is a 400+ arrears with them last letter they sent was 3months ago.
    I ordered vodafone broadband today was talking to them i didnt say anytin bot arrears situation should i of? They are sending modem and engineer out next week.

    You'd probably have heard already if theyd left a block on the line.

    Eir will sell the debt to a collector. If your brother is gone he can deal with it upon his return, if ever.

    Hopefully now it be a rough pill to swallow having to pay the 400+ arrears near christmas after starting a contract with vodafone. Brother handled it badly
