Paypal fees

    Does anybody know the detail behind paypal payments (as a seller). What it seems to be saying on the PayPal web site is 3.4% of purchase price. Recently I sold 2 items and was paid via pay pal.

    Item 1...total cost = $1,586....paypal deducted $70 = $1,516 lodged into my paypal account

    Item 2..total cost = €630..paypal deducted €33 = €597 lodged into my paypal account

    On Item 1 this equates to 4.4% charge and on item 2 it is 5.2% charge. Can anybody expalin this..
