    Hello everyone, I have been checking online but I couldn't find an answer and I cannot believe I am the first one with this problem.

    To submit the Irish citizenship application I have to pay a 175 Euro fee by bank draft, no postal order, no personal cheques.

    My bank says they only do bank drafts over 500, other banks tell me they are not my bank, post office says they only do postal orders, not bank drafts.....

    Am I missing something obvious? I must be really dumb

    Before September 2016, they took Postal Orders. You only option is to find a friend with a Bank that does drafts for the required amount, and get them to get one for you.
