I'm in the market for a new car at the moment and this crowd seem to have a nice 2012 a4 avant reasonably priced for the year.
I'm just wondering if anybodies had any dealings with them and if so what they're like.
I'll be going the finance route with about 3k deposit.
Car also has about 120k miles on it. Anything specific to watch out for apart from timing belt now.
    Thanks all

No dealings with them but did you do a history check on the car?

If the car is good and checks out fully why not go for it?

Unable to do a check at the moment as the reg is not shown in the pics. It's just got business plates with the garage name on it.
I've fired off an email through carzone though to find out if it's English or irish plates at the minute and looking for the reg no. So I just await their reply.
I've not bought a car since 2008 and just wary aswell as I've heard horror stories about dodgy dealing in certain garages in Dublin I'm just unsure as to which ones

What I typically do when buying a car from a less known dealer is put the company name in to solocheck.ie to see how long the company is in business and if there's any bad judgements against them. Also use Google to see if there's any complaints logged or news items on the company. The car history check is most important, from experience so far touch wood all that I have checked out like this and were clean have been good.

Thanks for that I didn't realise there was such a site. I've done both now and things look ok regarding the dealer but unfortunately he emailed back this morning to say the car has been sold.
Back to the drawing board so

I think they used to be called N3 autolink?

If you google their name it seems to be associated with N4 Autolink. Seems to be linked on solocheck too.

Google throws this up and they seem to be in the same area but that could still be just pure chance:

Bought a 307 a while back of them for feck all.
The car would make a weird electrical sound when starting. No idea what it was. Anyway, I remember the sales guy turning on the radio searching for a station before starting the engine to mask the electrical noise. Did it twice.
Car was a pig but only needed it for a bit. Shifted it on handy enough. Lights and doors locks died too in the end!

Doubt I'd do business with them again.

    You might do better though!

O'Regan motors in Lucan have a 2012 A6 Avant S Line in white with about 120,000 and priced at about €24k off the top of my head. I've always felt their prices were a little silly to be honest. I'm not attached to this company in any way but I've seen it there this week while out walking. I've always like the A6 Avant.

When did you buy the car?
Im interested in a few cars there myself but dont want any bull****...

Its really difficult to find a trustworthy second hand dealer nowadays.
With my low budget I just expect honesty and not " the car is mint" crap.
If its technical sound but has a few dents & scratches then its fine :)
