Interanught, were set up in 2016, have gigged around Dublin since then in venues such as Sin É, Whelans and Czech Inn. All in our early 20's and aim to rehearse on Fridays (though that may change after Christmas)

We've booked a gig for February in Roscommon and are looking to expand our sound for the gig. Currently we consist of a vocalist/guitarist, bassist and drummer.

We tend to talk about Muse, Tool, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Mastodon, Gojira etc. So we're a bit of a mash of Metal/Core, Mathy Rock and Prog.

We aspire to write songs that try to break some of the cliches e.g. overuse of the lowest open string, while writing songs which use different techniques e.g. multiple time signature to keep it interesting and fresh.

Guitarist wise, someone can cover the crazier shred solos while the other guitarist goes for a calmer vibe in his solos e.g. Mark Tremonti to his Myles Kennedy as well as the duel lead Thin Lizzy timbre.

Vocalist is someone who can really belt and doesn't aspire to the 90's nostalgia voice.
