    Anyone know can I claim the VAT back for shed windbreakers on a VAT58 form?

    I would try it if its a new one. A repair or replacement one won't meet the criteria

    Technically its meant to be a fixed capital item, which means bolted/welded in place and going nowhere fast soon! So if it's one of the ratch wind breakers you'll do very well to get the vat back, if you like trying your luck maybe worth bolting it in place on the girders and sending them in a photo of that.

    Thanks for the feedback. I have never tried one of these reclaims before.
    I have fixed feeding equipment, fencing and a few other bits, do I do it all on the one claim?
    How about dog kennels? I bought fixed railings for sheepdog kennel. Would this be seen as OK do you think?
