It's a bit like asking the **** to get back on the shovel, or asking Nick Leeson to rejoin Barings (before they collapsed :P), and one of our great troupe of politicians have decided to do it.
Whether or not they are banking on the dislike of Enda winning or losing, or if it has anything to do with Trump and Pence.. Who knows.
But to unanimously decide that it is the best thing to do has me stumped.
I am questioning back and forth if they are only doing it so that FG etc., stay in authority.
If it happens it will be, and should be considered the opposite of any competition where you might be rooting for a "winner".
Fine Gael, Fianna Fail, Labour, and the rest should be hoping for their respective parties to lose.
    OR
Do Fianna Fail need "the most devious of them all" to rejoin the party to help them hide or show something that they cannot, without him?
2016 is not a good year.
