Can you watch Showbox on TV with Iphone/Ipad & without Chromecast?

Hi - I am just looking to get Showbox as I have heard very good things about it recently . However I do not have an Android device or Chromecast. Is it possible to watch Showbox on your TV using the Iphone/Ipad and not having to also use a Chromecast? Failing that I suppose the next step is to buy a budget android tablet…

Can't you just get a chromecast, AFAIK you don't need a tablet to work it.
