Headphones not working

I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones that also have a jack cable.
When I connect the jack I get low sound in the right ear. However, when I press the accept call button on the cable sound is perfect in both ears.
Sound also works perfectly with Bluetooth.
Anyone any ideas what might be wrong?

try a basic headphone in the laptop,
    cost 1 euro.50 cent in ddealz,or poundworld.
Or try bluetooth headphone in another pc or laptop ,maybe in a netcafe.

What type of phone are you using? This happens if you put headphones wired for an iPhone into a non-Apple phone. May also happen the other way round but I've never tested.

Happens when you try to use headphones with a microphone in an iPod, never tried it with any Android devices.

It will work okay in a phone I think.

You're hardly lucky enough that the headphones have a standard connection and you can just get a new wire?
