I am looking to get a Christmas book for my sister. She is an avid reader but I was hoping to get something she might be able to read year after year. For example we both love JRR Tolkiens Letters from Father Christmas so anything at all along a similar line would be great! Any other suggestions are welcome too though ;-)
    Thanks!

Heard good things about Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris and was considering getting it myself:

I don't know whether or not your sister is into adult humour though, which I think may well be the case with this book.

If you want something more family-friendly, perhaps The Snowman by Raymond Briggs? If she likes the animation based on this, she may like that.
