My boyfriends phone broke today. We have an old phone and when he tried to restore it from backup it is telling him that there is no backups available.

He has set up the phone as a new phone and upgraded the IOS and tried again but still saying no backups available. He has definitely backed up his phone in the past. If anyone could help that would be great. I've attached a pic of the error he is getting.

Was he backing-up to Icloud or PC, if it was to Icloud make sure he is using the same email address and password to see the restore points.
For PC should be straight forwardm plug-in open Itunes, click on phone icon, CTRL and left click the "Restore Backup"
