Our washing machine unexpectedly died today so I'm hoping to grab a late Cyber Monday replacement. Looking at the very bottom of the market ... I've seen Finlux in Harvey Norman, Thor in DID and Logik in Currys, all for under €200 for a 5/6 kg washer ... does anyone have any experience of these machines? They would not be heavily used, the only requirement would be for a quick-wash cycle option. Many thanks !!

Check power city and get the longest warranty you can.

Like everything, you get what you pay for.!!
If 'Quick wash' option is your main requirement then ask the shop assistant about it. Remember 'Quick wash' is just that, a freshen up really, will not remove stains. Usually about 30mins at 30*
A model with a 40-45min quick wash would obviously be better.
of the 3, I would veer towards the Finlux in Harvey Norman. Don't overload it and it might last 5 years. (might)
That's what you get for less than €200.;)

2 year warranty on this vs 1

Smaller capacity though. The reason I mention it is because the bigger nominal capacity might signal heavier construction and so it is likely to last longer.

Then again, it may not. Beko is a brand people have heard of at least.

Thanks for all the input. Great heads up on the extra year of warranty, hadn't thought of that and it swung it for me :-)

Ignore warranty promises. You have upto 5 years consumer rights, you just need to demand it if required.
