Granny Flat heating

    Greetings,
Quick background: We have a 2 zone plus hot water central heating system. We built a granny flat on just over a year ago so this is now a third zone.

We have to replace the 2 original thermostats in the house. We also want some way of getting the boiler going from the granny flat. ATM granny has to either turn it on herself by coming into the house or get one of us to turn it on which isn't ideal.

Any suggestions? I've had a look at Hive etc but they seem very expensive and not all off them can handle more than 2 zones

    Thanks

Put in a seperate timer in the flat wired to a motorised valve.

Then run the switched live back to the boiler.

Either clock will turn it on.

Whatever zones are open will get heated
