If your willing to drive a little then we got ours from a place between birdhill and ballina, €35 for a 7ft.

Paid €60 for a same size from a guy on the ballysimon road last year.

Ardnacrusha gardening Centre always has top quality trees and will deliver within a reasonable distance

If you go to the Birdhill roundabout and head towards Ballina, its about a mile down the road on the right hand side.

Garryowen & Shannon Rugby clubs sell trees on weekends. Shannon operate from their Coonagh base while Garryowen sell from the entrance to their club house near the Crescent Shopping Centre.

Both are putting the profits back into their clubs funds.

After years of getting a real one I would never go back. Artificial is so much better/handier, cleaner

I was never really comfortable with the idea of a real tree anyway. It seems an enormous waste, both of the tree and the money each year.

Would you not consider an artificial one OP?

Not a chance after years of fake ones at home my OH came from a house that always had real trees and she has turned me tbh the smell and the feel of it can't see myself going back

Its actually more environmentally friendly to use a real one.

€60 is a bit much tbh, i know they are a local club but no need to fleece people!
