Terrarium advice

I have black fingers but really want to make a terrarium. I have a big glass bulb like bottle and a smaller cocktail bowl I would like to use. I bought a couple of succulents for them. Anything I look up online says I need a specisl type of moss and activated charcoal to build the terrarium. Any advice on where I could pick these up? I checked my local garden centre's website but they aren't listed.

    For activated charcoal try petshops

Just checked a terrarium site and the moss appears to be the common sphagnum moss that you can find in pretty much any woodland, hedgerow etc.

I did wonder if I could just scrape it off a wall somewhere, alright!
