Does anyone know if it's possible for a wheelchair user with a small powered wheelchair can get on the sixmilebridge to galway train either with or without assistance?
    Thanks in advance.

All of the trains are wheelchair accessible and they carry a ramp to help with boarding.

Irish rail recommend letting them know 24 hours in advance

    Thanks a million flyingsnail,
When I was booking online it didn't show any designated wheelchair spaces on the carriages to Galway unlike the junction to cork/Dublin,
    Info much appreciated,

How did the journey work out?

Was there sufficient room for the chair?
