Does that shop on O'Connell street have all the currencies on the windows in the shop or would you have to order some of the more obscure ones?

Possibly the wrong forum. But if I was to hazard a guess I'd say you'd have to order some of the obscure ones. GBP/USD/AUD might be OK though.

What about an post? Could you rock up and get Dollars there and then without an order?

Depends on the size of the branch that you visit. But US dollars would be one of the biggest lines for anybody in the FX business, so you'd expect most of them to have a stock on hand.

Be a different matter if you're looking for Hong Kong dollars, now.
