When I rang my local rent allowance officer, he stated that there is a huge backlog in relation to rent allowance. Is this the case? Not getting my rent…

Hey there,

Just wondering if anyone could help me clear up the following matter - I was due to be paid my rent allowance on Thursday gone (24/11) but I did not receive. When I rang my local rent allowance officer, he stated that there is a huge backlog in relation to rent allowance. Is this the case? Not getting my rent allowance leaves me in a mighty sticky situation - could I pop down to the local CWO to help with this payment? My rent is due Tuesday next 29/11.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..
