    Is there much difference between both models? Considering buying the older model but if there is some difference in performance etc.......

    Do you mean Galaxy Tab S2 by any chance? I recall Samsung Galaxy S2 (S-9100) being a phone from 2011. Sorry!

    The 2015 model (T710) uses Samsungs own Exynos chip (from Note 4) and people over on Xda forums complained about it running hot. The 2016 model (T713) changed to a snapdragon chip, runs cooler, has faster cpu and gpu performance. It also has slightly longer battery life. The 2016 model will likely get Android N update.

    Having said all that, there are no Android apps or games that would push either model so I'd probably get the cheaper one.
