Has anyone used a gas Udder hair remover. Are they effective, and is there a risk of causing injury? Would anyone have advise on the method or any trick to using it. I see one priced at 180 euros....would this be about right?

Yeah I have one with straight bar for use in parlour, you can also get a cranked bar for use in a crush. The hair has to be clean and dry for it to be effective as you can only briefly run flame as they will let you know when it's hurting. And be prepared for plenty of dunging in parlour, I'd say its smell of gas as much as anything. Your probably looking for one now as cows are dirty? This wont solve the problem now, you would want to have them done in the nice dry weather while they were out.
