Where to get the following for home made pipe shelf

    I want to try and make this shelf unit that's made out of black iron pipes.

    It's gun barrell piping your looking for, plumbers supply shops sell it in long lengths, getting it cut and threaded to take the screw on fittings will be difficult, some hire shops may hire the cutting and threading equipment

    threading it is the problem.

    you could probably buy a ratchet threaded for 100 euro . it would be a budget model but probably be enough.
    i think gun barrel is BSP thread rather than metric



    i dont know if this part would work or not.
    get electrical conduit and tread it to suit the gun barrel fittings. the conduit will be lighter and easier to thread

    Afaik gunbarrel is measured on internal dia. and conduit on external dia. so not interchangeable.
