VSCO for iPhone & Snapseed

    Hi,

I have a iPhone SE with the apps VSCO & Snapseed installed.

    Couple of questions.

    Q. Does VSCO take raw photos by default?

Edit2: I have a sneaking suspicion that they have not added raw support yet.

    Q. If I export the photo from VSCO to the camera roll so I can edit it, is it still in raw format?

Edit1: Maybe by selecting "actual size" I guess this is the photo as taken with no reduction or formatting?

    Q. If you open a raw photo in Snapseed are you supposed to see any extra menus or do you just have the usual default menus?

BTW...I'm new to all this photography stuff....so learning my way...gradually.

Thanks in advance for the replies!

Ok - so definitely looks like VSCO do not yet support raw (.dng) format though they are working on it.

So...I'm using RAW by 500px which takes raw pictures and will also export them as raw (.dng extension). Verified this by taking a picture using default camera and then same object using RAW by 500px. The default camera picture was about 2.5Mb in size while the picture taken using 500px was 12.1Mb in size.

Plus when I imported the .dng file into Snapseed I got an extra menu and plus it told me straight away that this was a raw (.dng) file.

    Happy days!!.
