    So Allain Roland head of world rugby refereeing reached out to Hanson to apologise for the Smith yellow card.

    It's bizarre he would undermine a ref over a simple penalty particularly given the amount of dangerous stuff that wasn't dealt with correctly.

    The card itself being for persistent infringing after 8 penalties conceded by NZ so to apologise for carding them at all is absolutely crazy.

    No I was making reference to 2007 rather than last Saturday & Peyper etc.
