Beginner Drum Set

    Hi, Looking for some advice. Have a 16 year old who wants a beginner drum set. If he likes it, we can get a better set, but just want something to get him started and see how he gets on.

    I wouldn't bother with either of those two, spend the extra €. You can always sell it on if your son loses interest, but trying to sell those two on, would prove more difficult.

    Something like this, solid. Pretty much bomb proof. Just haggle, it's a buyers market.

    Would fully agree with Sugarlumps. Something by Yamaha, Pearl, Tama would be a fantastic start. Those no name brands you will find hard to sell or get parts for. Stick with something with a name.
