    Hope someone here has some advice/thoughts

    Myself and my spouse are moving back from the US in a month or so. We've managed to save a chunk of money while over here, and we're looking to buy a house when we get back.

    Does anyone have any experience of buying a house soon after relocating? We've got a consistent record of saving money in the US, but not sure how that translates to getting a mortgage here.
