Dealing with recruitment agency

    I know this has probably been asked before but when a recruitment consultant submits your CV to a company what is the process after that? Im waiting a little over a week now and have heard nothing back

    Did you follow up with them?

    If they are like the agencies I've dealt with, they may not be bothered contacting you if their client isn't interested in your CV. I've found that if it doesn't look like you'll be hired and they won't get money out of it, they won't put themselves out to contact you or even just be nice or professional.

    That's been my experience anyway, I really don't like dealing with recruitment agencies, I find most of them shockingly ignorant.

    Yes I did follow up today, a week after I applied. I was just told that they hadn't come back on any Cv'scthst were sent in yet.
