Meter Reading for Gas

I've just got the keys to my new place today and need to ring up tomorrow to get the gas switched over to my name. I've looked at the gas meter there to get a reading however I can't see anything to give a reading on (perhaps its not connected).

I'll attach the photos I took as maybe I'm missing something obvious here.

    Any help appreciated.

Otherwise I'll just ring up bord gais tomorrow with the meter number tomorrow (which I have) and say I can't find any reading and see what they can do.

    1) Bord Gais Gas Network - theres no reading though. There's a button A and a Button B. When I push button A it tells me no details.

    2) I believe this is the pay as you go top up for the electricity

    3) no idea. assumed an old version of 2.

I replaced the images with links as they were showing as massive pics.

    Pic 1.
After pressing A, something should have been displayed. If you are sure it is blank call Gas Networks on 1850 200 694.
The meter number is the long number just above the bar code along the bottom of the meter.
    Pic 2.
Is the consumer keypad for entering the prepay codes for electricity.
    Pic 3.
    Is your electric meter.
