    Has anybody used a power chimney cleaning system and if so are they worth the bother.
    I can't post links but if you Google gardus-sooteater you'll see the kind of thing I mean

    i have a cheap version. i think it was 90 euro.
    its ok. you need a corded drill to get the rpms up. its is very fiddly to join the rods together and to take apart.


    the proper version is a lot better design but it comes at a cost ( over 2000 euro).

    Thanks for reply. Do you find it does a better job than ordinary rod and brush or is it much the same

    its hard to tell. you dont have the feel of the normal rods
