Best way to access an index tracker in Ireland

    Hi All

I am looking for advice on investing into an index tracker, however it seems the usual suspects ( Vanguard etc ) are not available for us paddies. I appreciate Davys and Goodbodys have ETF's on their books but the fees are probably a little too high. Essentially I want to construct a portfolio consisting of an index tracker, emerging markets, and access to some small cap equities but I appreciate we are stifled in this country by Capital Gains Tax. Any advice on whether this is a reasonable goal would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    J

Ok looks as if I tried to run before I could walk - there are a few threads up about this already
