    The HSE - Counselling in Primary Care (CIPC) offers 8 sessions after a possible wait time of 9 months apparently.

    What low cost alternatives are there? Midland Region. I see Shine and MyMind in a search but their county specific.

    Whats available?

    Most counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice will have a sliding scale of fees - the less you earn, the less you pay.

    There seems to be an endless plethora of mental health charities, all doing slightly different work.

    Aware do online courses which are CBT based.

    And the HSE Mental Health services provide out-patient, day patient, in-patient and community services.
