Hello, Has anyone any idea of the current lead time for a Grant of Probate to be issued in Dublin? Has anyone recently been through this process - either selling or buying a house? We are currently 18 weeks waiting for the Grant of Probate to be issued on the house we are sale agreed on. Really hoping to have the keys this…

Hello,
Has anyone any idea of the current lead time for a Grant of Probate to be issued in Dublin?

We are currently 18 weeks waiting for the Grant of Probate to be issued on the house we are sale agreed on.
Really hoping to have the keys this side of Christmas.

Tell your solicitor to ask the vendor's solicitor, assuming they are doing the probate as well as dealing with the sale of the house.
