Loud Noises from Yard During Early Hours

Hi everyone. For the second night in a row I have been woken up at 4am from the yard right next door operating bradley machinery. This involves bricks being thrown into a mettle crate, the constant reverse noise (beep beep beep beep)c machines revving and men shouting. I just got back from holiday and my housemate said that it's been going on for around 2 weeks and was going on for a few nights before I left.

We both work early hours (we get up around 5 for work and finish some days around 6pm, so that extra hour of sleep does help us).

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what time it is legal for workers to start operating heavy machinery in the morning.

    Thanks!
