Does what it says on the tin: Looking for an App that will sound an alarm upon disconnection from a MagSafe or Similar item.

3 thefts took place last week from the local library of specifically MacBook Airs and Pros, while people had gone to the bathroom.

Looking for peoples recommendations app wise :D

Even if such an app exists, I'm not sure it would be much use. The thief will close the lid before pulling the Magsafe adapter.

If Find My Mac was enabled on the stolen Macs, they can be remotely disabled with a firmware password which the thief won't be able to break. They can also be tracked if they've connected to the internet. This assumes they haven't been wiped, of course.

Apple should really bring back the security cable slot. For all the space it takes up, it's worth its weight in gold.

You can use automator to run an AppleScript triggered by a power state change... Nice description in this link: https://www.dssw.co.uk/blog/2011-01-28-how-to-run-an-applescript-when-switching-to-battery-power/
