Has anyone every needed a bigger grip on a club versus standard.

Someone mentioned this to me during the week as I grip the club very hard and tend to be over aggressive with everything

Any luck in this area ?

Standard grips here with two wraps underneath. Never needed anything thicker but I have women's hands.

I have fairly big hands but always used standard. Bought a 2nd hand set recently and they have fatter grips and quite like them. Was reading an old Lee Trevino book last night and he maintained the grip size could impact whether you drew or faded the ball.

As for "tend to be over aggressive with everything", you might need more than a grip size change to sort that out

I've big monkey hands and use midsize grips with four wraps of tape. Standard are just too small, I find my club face control and ball striking aren't as good with them.

Midsize grips here as well fix - similar to the superstroke, a mid size reduces your grip tension

Midssize as a name makes no sense to me . As they are larger.

But I've always feared an aggressive release. This may help me a good bit .

I've gone for a midsize on driver as a test

They are mid size because you also get jumbo which are larger again!

    Bryson Dechambeau uses them

Can you get thinner/slimmer grips than standard too?

I have wee hands and getting a decent neutral grip with left hand can be difficult. As in getting the thumb pad to sit on top of grip.

    That is insane -

Bubba is unique - so, will not be copying that.

But gives an insight into the detail they go into.

I recently fitted a set of Golf Pride CP2 Pro Grips. Love them. Almost cured my hook!

I have long slim hands, and found when i squeeze the grip with my left hand, it rolls the clubface closed.
Now with the thicker stiffer grips, i can use much lighter grip and still feel like its not going to fly away.
