So our GP says my wife needs a routine mammogram. Going public will take 1-2years waiting so was wondering is there anywhere in Ireland where this test can be done without going through a private consultant?

Her GP can refer her to a private hospital for a mammogram without a consultant she will however have to pay for it. If I remember correctly it cost about €120.
