I'm changing my van in January and I'm looking at getting a 2013 primastar lwb, I've been looking at reviews on the van and to be honest I'm a bit put off by what I'm seeing, it appears that they give a lot of trouble and parts are very hard to come by as well as being expensive. I'm currently driving a 2006 mk7 transit swb low roof and it has not been to bad to maintain but I need the extra length with the low roof which is hard to find second hand in the transit , any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated

You'd be right to be cautious, a friend runs a small indo garage, and he's had nothing but hassles with Primastar/ Traffic vans the last few months, fuel rail pressure issues when starting, turbo blown, DPF problems, and they are not easy or cheap to work on.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
