Typically competitive racing at Dundalk tomorrow. This time of year is the time to get the well handicapped horses some of whom have been dropped massively for the new all weather season.

Geological in the first looks over priced at 20s each way dropping down in trip with plenty of questions about some of the others. Balmont Blast third race 9/1 dropped half a stone hasn't shown a whole pile lately but is well handicapped. Asian Wing travelled well last time and might flatter to deceive in the last but worth chancing a small bet 8/1. Mighty Fine ran better than the bare result behind the well handicapped filly the last day and whilst it's a long standing maiden off a mark of 45 she might run better than her odds suggest. 18/1

Jonny Levins really wants to win the opener anyway!

The mouse doctor (6 Dundalk), supposedly worked very well during the week and Cadeyrn (3.45 Haydock), fancied by stable I'm told. EW singles and double.

Gone for Burn The Boats in the first at Dundalk. This one as tipped up by forum legend goldcupfav on here a number of times in the past, but usually failed to deliver. I've followed it closely and always thought that it just ran too keenly, so I am not at all surprised to see it drop way down in trip here over the AW. Just noticed there has been some slight nibbles for it in the market, so am happy to take the 20/1 for it. Doing it straight, because I reckon it either hacks up or comes stone last (I did say the same about Roachdale House last week when it came 2nd at 20/1) :pac:

I fancy age of elegance 3.40 newcastle /////////2nd
At Clonmel yesturday was told honor oak has good chance by someone involved in the horse from england. 6.30 Dundalk

All aboard for a night of near misses at the greyhound track. The top two have been well backed in the first. Burn the boats and Sahreej. Keatley knows how to land a gamble though and Danny Sheehy up claiming 7.

Did that few years back on a work night out. Great Craic. my best night gambling ever. Went home with money in every pocket. Had a hangover for 2 days.
Think they had a band on after the dogs....
