Galway New Year Run

    I've just found out that I'll be spending New Year's in Galway city.

    Anybody know if the New Year's Day 5k will be taking place this year?
    The website from last year www.resolutionrun.ie appears to be defunct...

    Any info would be appreciated

    There are two parkruns in Galway, I would imagine they would be going ahead on New Year's Eve which falls on a Saturday.

    Currently it looks as if the Resolution Run wont be going ahead on new years day.

    Shame, I like to get the year off to a flying start.

    Westport seems to be the next nearest I can find, unless anyone knows of any others?

    Just an update. The Resolution Run is now going ahead on New Years Day.
