Hi, I'm flying out to Thailand in January, hopefully to teach over there.

I almost have the TEFL course completed and I'm just wondering does anyone know visa I need to apply for.

Some people have told me I need to apply for a holiday visa and then apply for jobs and a new visa when I get over there. Others have told me I need a Non-Immigration B visa or something like that.

Anyone have any ideas or direct me to a more suited forum??

    Any help much appreciated!

    Try Thaivisa.com

I actually did it on a tourist visa in the 90s for a few years...kept renewing in Malaysia every 3 months !! I believe they don't allow this any more....

I did read somewhere that you can convert a tourist visa to a non imm b but it requires the school to get a letter from some dept which can take up to 6 weeks... so you might be better to line up your ducks before you go.
