    Hi All,

Doing a late booking for Sunday morning and only Donabate available.

Which of the 9s are best, red, blue or yellow, or are they all similar?

Can you pick any 2 or is it decided by your starting choice?

    Thanks in advance

Edit: Actually Lisheen Springs is also available but I know nothing about it

Quite a distance between the two clubs so where you are coming from would be a factor.

I'd have thought the club would decide which of the three nines are in use at Donabate but as I recall they are all of much the same layout and quality. All nice.

Lisheen Springs is a very different style - probably a bit more challenging and with some elevation changes, whereas Donabate is pretty flat.

Two nice courses. You won't go wrong with either.

I wouldn't be a fan of either course to be honest, but let us know what you think of them after playing either.

Lisheen can be closed a lot if any frost about as it's on the side of a mountain.

If you would prefer I could get you out at my club at the members discount rate on Sunday. We always have space for green fees on the spare 9 and then it's only a matter of the pro finding a space on the other 9 for you, or play the spare 9 twice. I usually find playing 9 at this time of year is plenty. I personally feel or place would be better then the other two, but that's a personal opinion. PM me if you want out. Same green fee as the other two.

To be honest the quality isn't too important

The brother is home from abroad for the weekend so it's just a grudge match

    Thanks for the responses

For future reference what is your home club?

Lisheen for me is a much more enjoyable course, as long as the wind isin't blowing,
if it is, i'd go somewhere else as it's pretty exposed, especially the back nine.

yes, every member as a share of the club and it's property but I never mention it by name in my post and the original poster had to ask. I own .01 of a acre or something like that, it's my nest egg!!!!!

By the way, I will get you a great deal next year if you want to take the Boards Society to it.

    hmmm,

I was out on the first few outings a couple of years ago but I can't find the time to play in my own place and get out with other societies. But I will keep trying.
