    Hi,

I was wondering where do you guys fly your drones...? According to IAA rules we're not allowed to fly them anywhere "public" (eg. public park or beach), far away from people and buildings.. So it looks like the only remaining places are huge farms - is that the case..?

    Thx,

I only fly them on farms now but had two shot out of the sky by farmers:mad:.I used to fly them on beaches but got sick of the all the complaints from the beach walkers, soon there will be now where left to fly:mad:

People still fly them in public places like parks it's a case of flying safe and having bit of awareness ,
Try fly when it's quite especially if your planning on a place like a beach ,

I'm not sure about the parks... I think the attitude towards all drones/quadcopters is not really good (not sure why). I'm pretty sure people will start complaining sooner or later. I'll try and bring my smallest quad and see what happens... Hopefully they will tell me to go away before they call the gards and/or IAA... ;)
I guess the safest bet would be to go and ask farmer for permission (and not use word "drone") - but I'm in Citywest area and it weon't be easy to get hold of a farmer here ;))

I hope it wasn't Phantoms or other expensive quads ;)
As a side note - what is the law/IAA saying about that (ie. shooting stuff out of the sky)? If my drone is registered with IAA then it's a full-blown aircraft. So why the farmer won't start shooting down garda or army helis and they have the right to shoot a drone flying at 80-90m...?
