I have received an infraction and then a ban

I posted my comment in good faith and then I received an infraction. I was then called a troll by a c-mod. I am not a troll and I assume this c-mod just didn't like my comment and decided to then ban me from the sports/cycling forum. I think this is unjust and would like you if possible to look into it please.

Hi, have you attempted to resolve this directly with the mod who banned you (as per the process outlined)?

I decided against contacting the c-mod as I didn't want to make it worse for myself. I don't think it would have made a difference in this case to do so. I'm just surprised that I was infracted and then banned for a basic comment that was relevant to the thread.

I know you folk are busy enough than having to deal with this, but I just find it strange that I have been banned in this case, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered you folk.

I have just contacted the main category mod of the forum in relation to this dispute. Sorry for not following the proper procedure as outlined as this is the first dispute that I ever had to do in over 8 years, I forgot to first contact the mod first, my apologies.

    Best wishes

I have again replied to c-mod and I will stand by my original posting 'of an unjust infraction and ban. I went through the proper channels as told and I will not be told that a post I made 1 year ago is relevant to this dispute discussion at hand.

    @ Beasty C-Mod

I'm sorry but you are nitpicking by plucking out my old posts that are a year old and I actually find that worrying. My post from last year has No relevance to the post I made today and it is disingenuous of you to use that old post against me of which is again unjust regarding the topic of today.

As for your comment forwarded to me in regards to my so-called 'relentless negativity' as you say, I cannot even remember that old post of which is a year old. I can see that you have a personal agenda as to only accept postings of which you like, and will go out of your way to destroy any other posts that add to a true reality discussion as in regards to an insurance initiative for cyclists, again an unjust holding of your personal likeness of comments.

Also, I am not having a dig on cyclists/cycling as I already told you that I was an avid cyclist myself in the past of which you ignored. I simply expected that cyclists should have insurance to cycle on our roads just like any other road user, therefore my comment that was uploaded to your forum was legitimate and just, as this is what a forum is supposed to be used for, i.e... discussion on the topic at hand whether a person agrees or not is irrelevant, once the topic is within charter rules by boards.ie then I think this is just.

I'm sorry, but there will be no deal of any kind, I stand by my personal opinion in comment on forum and You were totally over-reacting as to my comment on board. And no, the infraction and ban was uncalled for in regards to my legitimate comment.

    Best Wishes

    Michael.

Ok, will wait for an apology. Defamation of character in relation to being called a troll was out of order and as such the c-mod broke his/her own charter rules.

I have been here long enough to understand the rules.

I give up, I cannot understand the C-Mod's excuses any longer.

Sorry to the Admin that had to use their own valuable time to investigate this, but in saying that, the C-Mod in regards to the main complaint has/and is still accusing me of being a troll. To be constantly told this in PM by said mod is unacceptable.

I'm not going to leave it at that being accused as such, I'll be taking this further legally.

As the OP is now intending to resolve this matter via legal channels this appeal is closed.
