Hi, looking for some help if anyone can advise.
I got gas into the house in March, didn't get to use it much as we came into summer. I've had it on the last two weeks and no problems, one rad wasn't great so I bled it. Anway I noticed the gauge by chance while the heat was on and thought it might not be right. I'm possibly being paranoid but it's a new system and I'm not yet familiar with it.
Picture one is the system off and picture two is the system on

1.5 bar is fine for cold, personally I would have it at 1.25 bar cold, but 1.5 is perfectly acceptable.
0.5 bar increase when up to full temp is ok, but again personally I would prefer a little less of an increase.
As long as it doesn't continue over the 2 bar towards 3 then you are fine.
As its a new system, keep a watch on the gauge for pressure dropping away. If you do vent radiators the pressure can drop. Check the gauge after any venting and re-pressurise the system to 1.25 - 1.5 bar (cold).

Thanks for that. Is it worth my while venting rads to lower the pressure to 1.25 bar cold?
