Buying a property from Nama

Hi - I went sale agreed on a house a few weeks ago and my solicitor has come back now to say that the house is part of a fund owned by Nama where the loan has been assigned to the fund. They are looking for additional information such as bank statements etc for the sale to proceed. I am now waiting on a letter of consent to issue by the fund. Has anyone any experience of this and is the process drawn out ? Is there a risk that the sale may not go through? Many thanks in advance for any information.
