Ford 0% Finance on 171

Sorry, couldn't see a thread on this, but feel free to move.

I'm looking at the Ford 171 0% finance deals.

What's the catch? I presume there's fairly severe restrictions around the trade in? Like I can see that the car has to be within 10 years of age, so does that mean older cars are worth nothing on a trade in?

Was looking at the Fiesta ST-Line in a 171 and it's hard to find flaws in the deal, except my car is a 01.

They are probably trying to compete with the likes of VW and Hyundai for market share here. The current Fiesta model being on sale since late 2008 and due to be replaced with a new model in the first half of next year probably has something to do with it too. Just remember if you plan to trade the car in at the end of the 3 year PCP deal you may not have enough equity in it given it's resale value will be lower given it's an old model.

It will be a few years before next Fiesta ST arrives...

But the ST-Line will be replaced for sure very soon...

ST line is just a visually tarted up model. Not an ST
Same idea as OPC line on opels, R line on vw, S-Line on Audis etc. Not an OPC, R, S4 but a homage!

    (No offence OP)
