Bus Service

Hi folks

I'm not from Waterford but have to go down for an appointment to the Regional Hospital in the coming days..I don't drive so would be arriving into Plunkett Station...

Can anyone tell me if there is a stop near here that would leave you out to the hospital?

Walk across the bridge to the bus station and you will get a bus there that will drop you to the door of the hospital . Bus number is 605 I think . A taxi from plunkett to hospital would be around 11 euro

The bus stop at the bus station is more of a set down stop to be honest as its just a cut in from the road in front of station.

You could walk a bit further down to the clock tower and get the 605 there or Kenneally's 607.

My tuppence worth of advise is to be sure to allow yourself loads and loads of time. I'm not sure what time your appointment is but at certain times of the day those timetable would be completely out the window as traffic can get pretty bad at times and you wouldn't want to rely on those timings.

It's a bit of a walk from the train station to the clock tower so if you are under time pressure I would suggest to get a taxi.
The 605 as has been said will take you there or any of the Keneallys busses.

Thanks guys...I was there early this morning...just got it from the clock tower..at least I know where it goes from now for the future
