Would like to hear any feedback from anybody who purchased a Henley Apollo or achill stove? Non boiler insert stove is what we are after.

Our room is 18.5 feet x 12.5 feet so looking at what would work best.

Really appreciate any feedback or recommendations please.

    Hi
I got a Henley Apollo 5W Room Heater in October 16. It is fantastic . I am only burning logs and the heat out of it is amazing. Easy to control the airflow and easy to clean out. But make sure to get a good installer. I am thinking that the people who installed mine had no clue. I have no fireplace and wanted the fire inserted into the hearth with just the plastered wall around it. Can Look great. But firstly the plastering finish was appalling but more worrying is how hot the wall above the fire gets. You couldn't touch it with your hand. Becomes the biggest storage heater ever. Still warm in the morning. This could be great in one way but I think over time the wall will be ruined and the plaster is already starting to crack.

We have an Achill, can't fault it, only use briquettes in it as found they gave the best heat output compared to kiln dried timber & other stove fuels we tried

    Agree, get a good installer
