Would like to hear any feedback from anybody who purchased a Henley Apollo or achill stove? Non boiler insert stove is what we are after.

Our room is 18.5 feet x 12.5 feet so looking at what would work best.

Really appreciate any feedback or recommendations please.

Perhaps the folks in "Plumbing and Heating" forum could help you on this?

Dont have either model you mention, but have a kingstar insert and love it. If you google stove size calculator youll get some guidance on output size.

Have the achill for two years cant fault it one bit the heat is brilliant.
When i was buying i went for the bigger output because i can open the double doors into the kitchen if it gets too hot but also you can just put on a smaller fire. Its very hard to put on a big fire in a small firebox when it gets really cold.

We have an Achill for over a year, can't fault it, great heat out of it, even on the coldest days we would have to open the double doors if we load the fuel, we leave the doors open overnight so downstairs is warm in the mornings, have tried kiln dried timber, smokeless stove fuel but find briquettes the best for heat output
