DoneDeal website not loading

Hi
Im just wondering how to get donedeal working on laptop? I have a expat proxy program i use to watch the bbc iplayer, when i put this on, donedeal works, but on my normal internet connection, it doesnt work

Maybe your ip was banned because someone in the pool did some naughty things. Has happened me a few time with Wikipedia.

No i just go on it to look at whats for sale, very strange, have to change ip to go on it now, doesnt make sense

Cant get into yahoomail now also, but when i use a proxy address i can, strange

If you try to go to 91.220.45.19, what happens? (IP address of donedeal)

If it works, it's a dns issue.

Do you have a static dns set?

I tried that, same thing, im using firefox, it just keeps saying 'connecting' but never does

Not sure what a static dns set is, im using an eircom router, all internet pages seem to be working, apart from yahoo mail and donedeal.... i downloaded hotspot shield ages ago to watch a program on the bbc.co.uk website, cause it said you need a uk ip address, and when i put hotspot shield on, yahoomail and donedeal websites work! and when it is turned off, they dont! strange!

I uninstalled hotspot shield, hopeing that would solve the problem, but the 2 websites still wont load.

Problem sorted, after uninstalling a lot of things, and even thinking of reformatting, it ended up all i had to do to access these 2 websites, was something very simple.

I got a needle and pressed reset on the router, and the 2 websites started working!

Same thing again today, the 2 websites dont load, i reset router again and they work, strange

check if there's a firmware upgrade for your router

My own ISP, Imagine, has been having DNS issues so I thought you might be with them. It is strange that only a small amount of sites are affected though.

Yea the 2 websites not going today either, just says connecting but nothing happens

I get the same problem with DoneDeal. Imagine is my ISP - if I use a mobile hotspot through Vodafone it works fine. Something's up with their DNS. Has been an issue since I connected to Imagine in May. Never bothered doing anything about it as don't use DoneDeal much.
